HISTORY
In the year 2000, on 25 August, Linth Air Service AG was officially founded by Peter Kolesnik and Dr. Kurt Brunner.
After more than 30 years in the helicopter business with Heli-Linth, Peter Kolesnik initiated the construction of a spacious hangar at Mollis Airport. In July 2003 Linth Air Service started its operational activity, mainly offering maintenance and overhaul services for helicopters, hangar rental for business jets and helicopters and also a variety of services and support to aircraft owner and operators.
On 1 April 2010 RUAG Aviation acquired from Linth Air Service the helicopter maintenance division. RUAG moved into the modern hangar in Mollis and took on the helicopter mechanics as well as the existing operating equipment.
In order to provide his company a long-term perspective and a stable develop-ment Peter Kolesnik found a sustainable succession solution with Marenco Holding AG chaired by Martin Stucki, a well-known name in the Swiss rotor-wing industry. The acquisition was effective at the beginning of 2013.
After an enviable career in the aviation industry, Peter Kolesnik stood out his last flight on July 30, 2017.

Since August 2017 Martin Stucki manages Linth Air Service along with the proven and experienced team consisting of mostly long-time employees.
After 10 years and in course of a reorganization RUAG decided to give up the maintenance center in Mollis. Linth Air Service recently took over again and nowadays continues to be a certified maintenance and repair center for helicopters.
